Tame-Care and E-Cobot have combined their expertise to develop a new robot dedicated to the disinfection of premises: HUSKY UV.
HUSKY UV, born from E-Cobot's know-how in robotics and Tame-Care's know-how in electronics, is a fully autonomous robot dedicated to surface disinfection and air purification. 
It has been developed to prevent and reduce the spread of covid-19, but also of all infectious diseases, viruses, and other types of harmful micro-organisms.

UVC technology

HUSKY UV disinfects surfaces, floors and walls using UV-C light.

This robot eliminates up to 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and fungi in all environments likely to be threatened by these micro-organisms.

In addition to its disinfecting properties, UV-C light has the advantage of dissipating instantly. Thus, unlike chemical disinfection, UV light does not leave any toxic residues. This means that the treated area can be reoccupied as soon as the disinfection cycle is complete.

A patented technolgy

The innovation lies in the integration of the UVC neon lights: they are adjustable and positioned horizontally. They deliver a directed, homogeneous and efficient radiation. This optimises the disinfection of the targeted areas and thus the disinfection speed of this device.

HUSKY UV is equipped with an integrated air purification system:

  •  Pre-filter,
  • Activated carbon,
  • HEPA filter,
  • UV lamp

Combining surface disinfection and air purification, HUSKY UVC provides a global solution to prevent health risks in critical and risky environments.

Autonomous

HUSKY UV works remotely or in total autonomy without any human intervention. The robot will move around the room in different strategic places in order to optimise the disinfection of all the surfaces and equipment, minimising shadow areas.

Easy to use

HUSKY UV is used for regular cleaning cycles. 
It is ergonomic and each disinfection cycle is started in a simple and intuitive way. 

  1. The staff launches its cycle on the control interface from its digital tablet. 
  2. The robot then moves around the area to be disinfected 
  3. Husky UV returns to its charging dock at the end of the cycle.
  4. A disinfection report is created after each cycle and is sent by email to the specified person. These reports can be archived and viewed at any time, ensuring full traceability.

Secure

Safety is a key element in the design of this robot. The teams have integrated numerous independent and redundant safety systems to ensure the safety of staff, customers and visitors.
Its navigation incorporates proven collision avoidance technology and audible and visual warning systems.
Person detection cameras are placed at the UVC tower, providing a 360° safety perimeter over a distance of 7 metres. So if a person enters a room during a disinfection cycle, the robot will stop immediately.

High autonomy

HUSKY UV has two independent batteries which ensure an autonomy of 3 hours in operation. Thus, the disinfection robot is able to disinfect large areas such as airports, shopping centres, exhibition centres and several hospital rooms with limited recharging requirements.
